We Are Hiring: Assistant Structural Engineer/Architect In Cornwall

Desmonde Associates is a Cornwall based multi disciplinary Engineering practice working UK wide. We are seeking to add a talented Assistant Structural Engineer or Architect to our growing team.

Role: To assist with Surveying, Design and Heritage and Conservation works, with the potential for career development to more senior roles.

Projects: Buildings, Maritime, Environment and Structures of all types.

Skill Requirement: To suit Architectural Technologist, Graduate level (HNC/HND will be considered for capable candidates) construction professional seeking experience in Design Office. Need to have knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD/ArchiCAD. Highly valued but not necessary: TEDDS, TEKLA; be a good communicator; a passion for sustainability. Self-motivated and ambitious individuals will progress quickly.

A willingness for continued learning, with good communication and writing skills is very important for this role.

What We Offer: Salary of £25k to £35k depending on experience, plus annual bonus for time and delivery of commitments; challenging and rewarding range of work; innovative and unique challenges.

Workplace: Based in a modern office situated in St Agnes - A wonderful environment, close to the world-famous surfing beaches, hiking trails and all that Cornwall has to offer in terms of quality of life and quality of opportunity.

Successful candidates may be required to be security cleared due to the nature of our ongoing public sector projects. Having a full UK driving license will also be advantageous.
